Christmas Buttered Carrots.
Serves 4 | Prep Time 15 mins | Cook Time 10 mins
Ingredients
800g organic carrots
2 tsp caster sugar
Generous knob of Ór-Real Irish Butter
Method
Place the carrots in a wide, shallow pan, add just enough water to cover them, then add the sugar and Ór-Real Irish Butter. Simmer over medium heat until the liquid has evaporated and the carrots are cooked through – they should be glazed and shiny. Season with sea salt & pepper and serve.
